Adam Phelps – author of publications

Welcome to Adam Phelps’ Portfolio Page

Hi, I’m Adam Phelps, a passionate cartographer and the author of the blog “Maps of Countries and Cities.” I love exploring and discovering new places, and my blog is all about sharing my knowledge and experiences with others.

My Journey

I graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Environmental Science. During my time there, I studied various subjects such as climate change, ecological biogeography, environmental pollution, and waste disposal. I also completed study blocks on creative economy and urban space creation, which helped me understand how geography and economy are interrelated.

My Passion

My passion lies in mapping and creating interactive maps of countries and cities. I believe that maps are the best way to understand and visualize the world around us. Through my blog, I aim to inspire people to explore new places and learn about different cultures.

Family Life

When I’m not mapping, I’m spending time with my lovely wife and two children. We enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling together. As a family, we have visited many places, and I have created maps to record our adventures.

No Political Bias

I write articles based on authoritative sources and my own experiences. I do not take any political side and only write about geography. My aim is to provide accurate and unbiased information to my readers.
